    Protests in Egypt: Your experiences

    Tahrir November 27

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Mishriki attended protests against Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy's edict extending his powers in Cairo, on Tuesday. She took these images to show the scale of the protest, which saw ten of thousands of Egyptians take to the streets. "I saw people in the square I had never seen before," she said. "We had dubbed these folks 'hezb al kanaba' [the coach potato party] and yesterday I saw a man carrying a sign with a couch [drawn] on it and the caption said: 'Couch potato party - thank you for getting me off my seat'." She said she plans to attend the further protests planned on Friday.
