Loving and losing a dog: Your tributes

    11 months of pure love

Tiger died this week after he was attacked by a wild animal that jumped into his pen. When I first saw Tiger he was abandoned and barely fed or watered, living alone on a zipline out in the country. Me and my husband rescued him not long after and he proved to be the most loving and gentle spirit we'd ever had in a dog. He was about 4 years old. He would bow his head all the way to the ground when you approached him and wait to be petted. And given the chance, he would climb in your lap and not let you up until he was done getting all the love and affection he could get in one sitting. We only had him for 11 months before he died but he was such a blessing to us and taught us a lot about caring for abused and neglected dogs. I can't wait to see you again, my baby boy. Momma loves Tiger.
