    China is to dominate media in Taiwan

    In 2008, Chinese government made a decision that they had to control major media groups in Taiwan such as Liberty Times, FTV news and Apple Daily. This decision was based on the goal of unification.
    Now, Apple Daily is incorporated into the Want Want Group, whose president is pro-China, Tsai Eng Meng.
    Freedom of the press now is quickly eliminated by Chinese government. Want Want Group owns 46% share of the media market. Unfortunately, Fair Trade Commission is unable to stop this from happening, for legal and political considerations.
    We Taiwanese are unwilling to lose our freedom of speech!! We are protesting against the government's indifference! Please! For freedom's sake, save Taiwan!
