Muslim Khwateen Markaz worried over ‘shoe’ Incident

Srinagar, November 29: Chairperson Muslim Khwateen Markaz, Anjum Zamaruda Habib today expressed grief and sadness over the ‘shoe’ incident that lead to sectarian clashes in the Summer capital of state and appealed both communities to come forward for unity.
In a statement issued from Srinagar, Zamaruda Habib said that this moment is of utter shame and disgrace and depicts that the people under the occupation haven’t accumulated wisdom.
Party has wished to warn the common masses that such acts and actions can affect the Kashmir freedom movement as the occupier can take benefits from those situations.
“The Indian authorities with the excuse of safe guarding us against communal tensions have conducted raids to pick up innocent kids while Muslims were busy fighting each other. It is a shame that the lessons haven’t been learned yet.” Press release quotes as Zamaruda saying.
She has urged women of both communities to come forward and break the silence over these incidents.
We urge people to indulge in activities that will enhance our understanding of each other and especially women must play the role of wisdom by respecting difference and flourishing unity, Press release reads.
