    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GeloVillano shot these images of traditional Filippino festive food at a market in the city of Santa Rosa.

    Every Christmastime, together with the sparkling lights, the cold breeze, and the yuletide spirit, the flavors of Christmas is one of the things that makes every year special. In the Philippines, the famous “Puto Bumbong” and the “Bibingka” represents the taste of Christmas.
    The purple-colored delight topped with shredded coco meat, sugar and margarine called Puto Bumbong is one of the all-time favorites together with the fluffy and tasteful gold-like comfort food topped with cheese and salted egg famously known as bibingka. Having a taste of these specialties can make every Christmas season the best!
