    Lights Up! It's Christmas Time

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Keemalexis captured these cool images of Christmas lights made from recycled materials -- such as plastic, styrofoam and foils -- in the Philippines.

She says the green and yellow lights against the dark provided an excellent photographic opportunity.

"I decided to take this kind of photos because they really symbolize the true meaning of Christmas ingenuity here in the Philippines," she says. "I'm also fund of sharing how we celebrate this season through the whole world."
    - eoghan, CNN iReport producer

Filipinos have their own unique taste and style in celebrating the birth of Christ. Some of the decorations like here in Cavite, Philippines are made from recycled materials like plastic, styrofoam and foils.

To most Filipinos, Christmas is the most anticipated fiesta of the year. Warm-hearted people with their true devotion to family and faith all contribute to a holiday celebrated in the true Philippines fiesta tradition.
