    "Just Coats" Drive

    New York Cares aims to collect 200,000 warm coats this year, not just for the homeless people but for thousands of New Yorkers who have been displaced in shelters caused by hurricane Sandy.

    Public collection sites include New York City Police precinct, local public library or commuter hub. The drive runs through December 31.
