The San Lorenzo River (29miles river that collects a large portion of Santa Cruz County's watershed) picture was taken near the river mouth next to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. From looking over the USGS water live data reports it seems to have broken an instantaneous value record that was last set in 1983 at discharge rate 787 cubic feet of water per second. The current discharge rate of instantaneous value is 1290 cubic feet of water per second recorded. Based on 76years of records.
