Belen: A Filipino Christmas Manger
Every Christmas season, especially here in the Philippines, every Filipino family put their belen (Christmas manger) from the attic, rooftop and at the front lawn. Belen or Christmas manger is a traditional Christmas symbol of the Filipinos that depicts the infant Jesus birth in the manger. This depiction is usually made from ceramic, wood, and even recycled materials.
