    Trash to Cash: Water Hyacinth

Upon travelling in Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. I saw beautiful creation of water hyacinths. At first glance I thought it was made out of rattan. But closely expecting it, it doesn't look like one. Water hyacinths were use to create unique form of furnitures. And it is a source of livelihood in the said area!
It was my first time seeing it. This ingenuity makes me realize more and more to recycle . No wonder this cool products out of waste materials and often called as pest in the water can be a good source of income.
