Pedrins Dairy Bar, located in North Adams Ma, has been a local eatery for the past 50 years. Nestled on the corner of Curran Highway and Hodges Cross Road it is easily accessible to many passer byes. The Dairy Bar had been family owned and operated and is open from March til October every year. There are few nice days that you will pass without seeing the parking lot full. I have spent many summers working inside the dairy bar and watched it grow over the years from a small building to a larger one with an outdoor pavilion and many family oriented themes throughout the summer. I have met and gotten to know many locals and am able to tell you what they will eat when they arrive. The menu ranges from hamburgs to the fried fisherman's platters and the best onion rings you will every eat. The onion rings are homemade and battered in a family recipe, the fish is fresh and battered to order and the coleslaw, along with many other items are homemade. You can top off your meal with an ice cream cone, frost or malt and visit with friends while sitting in the picnic cove. One of the favorite past times of young and old is feeding your fries to the many birds that call Pedrins picnic grove home. Being a small family owned business you will see many familiar faces summer after summer waiting to take your order, as 3 generations of the owners family and friends have spent their summers behind those windows. If your parents worked there it will more than likely be your first job.
