One month after Sandy (Part 2)

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     It was the first time in over a month that rioroman5 visited Ortley Beach, a barrier island on the Jersey Shore, which he says was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy. 'It was surprising to me to see that beach,' he said. 'It was surprising to me to see that beach,' he said. 'It looks like the storm just came through yesterday.' He says his own neighborhood, which is also on the Jersey Shore, but more mainland, was flooded after Sandy. But he says the neighborhood is doing better now, and more homes have been fixed up. 'Our neighborhood was cleaned up, but to see this place and see it wasn't cleaned up - it just looks like the day after the storm.' He visited the area in order to help an elderly resident who lost both her homes on the island. He says he was blown away by the mold growth and the debris. 'I think a lot of those houses should be taken down,' he said. 'It doesn't seem healthy to live in those conditions.'
