Your vision for America
Opinion, Views and Experience or Racist and Politically bias?
"Scapegoating" - definition: a person or group made to bear the blame for others or to suffer in their place.
I have grown so exhausted of liberal accusations of "RACIST!" when I am expressing, or others are expressing their true opposing view or experience related to the performance or actions of the current administration running the Whitehouse.
The conditioned affect that slavery and other racial discriminating issues have caused are driving a triggered extinguishing response to any objectionable view when it comes to weighing in on the performance of this President or his team. I do get why this is happening! As an American I'm ashamed of the racist attitudes of others. BUT others point of view, opinion, or experiences, should not all fall into one silo, that being 'racism'. We all have a right to be heard without being the scapegoat for those that have felt the pain of racism and discrimination.
Since the election of President Barack Obama, while marking a great time in history, that being the reality of how far our nation has moved from where we were decades or even a Century ago, has at the sametime caused a very troubling outcome, for many, resembling that of "reverse discrimination". Our true voice is no longer heard as a valid opinion but rather now must be a racial attitude. Instead, the moment we have an opinion that is not in favor of this administration's performance, or our own views contradict the views of others, we are now called out and demonized as racist or slapped with a political come-up-ense rather than viewed as a fellow citizen with a valid take on the subject.
Several of my friends have suggested racism does still exist and it is a conditional response due to that. We need to consider the future ramifications of extinguishing (scapegoating); labeling the view of others as having a racist or political bias, everytime they disagree with another point of view as it regards this administrations performance or policy, overtime could backfire by continuing to keep racism alive.
It does make one consider if 'reverse discrimination' lawsuits will be on the rise soon.
