Mobile-ready website leader Telnames rolls out first UK TV advertising campaign

London, United Kingdom, December 4th 2012 – Telnames, a leader in mobile-ready website creation and online contact pages for businesses, today announces the launch of its first television advertising campaign, aimed at bringing the “go mobile in minutes” message to every local business in the UK. The adverts will run throughout December, playing out regularly across UK digital channels Sky News, Sky Sports News, Dave and Dave Ja Vue.
The advertising campaign, themed “Put your business in your customer’s pocket”, is part of an integrated marketing programme to boost awareness of Telnames’ service that enables any business to quickly and easily create an effective smartphone-friendly online presence. Telnames mobile websites provide all the essential “click-to contact” information in a single page designed with mobile users in mind. Everything is included in an all-inclusive fee of £14.95 per year.
Commenting on the advertising campaign launch, Ian Bowen-Morris, Chief Marketing Officer for Telnames said: “We are delighted to be rolling out our first television advertising campaign today, and we’re really looking forward to using this powerful platform to reach even more businesses with the benefits of our mobile-ready website solution.” He added: “With 95% of smartphone users regularly searching for local businesses and services online, according to Google – and 68% confirming they’ve called or visited a business following a mobile search – having a mobile-friendly web presence is now the major business opportunity for businesses. Around 40% of our sales are to businesses taking a first step online, and the rest are to those that have a website but realise it’s a poor experience for mobile users. Our new TV advert explains clearly the familiar problem that mobile users experience when accessing traditional websites – typically awkward navigation to a “Contact Us” page, often without a “click-to-call” phone number. It then shows how, within minutes, any business can quickly and easily create a mobile-friendly web presence and get found by people searching on the move.”
