    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter mendezona from California was visiting her parents in the Philippines and holidaying on the island of Bohol when Typhoon Bopha struck. "I ended up stranded there since all boats were stopped and all ports were not operating," she said. The island is just north of Mindanao island, which was badly hit by the typhoon. A least 140 people have died, authorities say, although it is feared the death toll will rise.
