Morsy Escaped his presidential palace.
Thousands of thousands of Egyptians protested all across Egypt, in Tahrir square, in Alexandria, Upper Egypt and North Egypt while thousands marched to presidential palace, Morsi’s reaction was to escape the palace like a coward. Protesters chanted “Morsi has to Step down”, “down to Muslim Brotherhood and their supreme guide”
National Rescue Council headed by El Baradei, Ex-Director General of the IAEA and Nobel Peace winner demanded:
1) cancel the constitutional declaration
2) cancel the referendum on the draft constitution,
3) formation of a new drafting committee for a new constitution to reflect ALL Egyptians.
Morsi was given 48 hrs to respond. For the first time since the revolution, security force joined hands in hands with the protesters.
