This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Weekends in America

    Thanksgiving Tradition

My sisters and our families help out our parents every year with a special community service project they do. We volunteer our "Thanksgiving" day (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) to help them in their local Christmas parade. In this photo you can see all the grandchildren dressed up ready to walk in the parade. The organization they work with is called "Lake of Lights" where they light up a park with Christmas displays that the community can drive through every night from Thanksgiving to New Years. It has now become our tradition to dress up and help them hand out flyers advertising the event.
