Best Fried Shrimp on the West Coast

Pete’s Fish & Chips is hands down the best fried shrimp on the west coast. The batter on its seafood dishes is somewhat soft it is not hard like some fast food seafood competitors. However, sadly it only has locations in Arizona. This family owned drive-thru seafood restaurant has been in business since 1947 yet it refuses to expand to other states. I’m originally from Phoenix, Arizona but currently live in California. Me and other Pete’s fans that no longer live in Arizona from time to time go on to Pete’s Facebook page and beg the business to open locations in other states but still they refuse.

I first found about this restaurant as a child when my family members would take me out to eat. I fell in love with their large deep fried shrimp, Monster burgers, tender chips also known as French fries, and the Pete’s red sauce that makes any food item at Pete’s taste delicious. I have been a fan now for over twenty years and now my daughter loves it just as much as I do. Some other good points about Pete’s is that it has family portions and prices are affordable. If you ever visit Arizona and love seafood or a yummy burger you have to try Pete’s. The locals will tell you the same thing.

There are eight Pete’s Fish & Chips locations in Arizona. I use to frequent mostly the ones in Phoenix. Here is the one I suggest checking out:

    Pete’s Fish & Chips
    4121 North 44th Street
    Phoenix, Arizona
    (602)840-0630

All of the Pete’s locations offer great food I just suggest this one because it is in central Phoenix area and it is easy to reach the East Valley.
