    Rawon, a yummy black

     
    Indonesia have many menu of culinary, and it was unique and so different place by places. There is a region of East Java, Indonesia, yes Surabaya. It is a provincial capital. A famous cullinary which is become a favorite breakfast or maybe lunch for every layer of society in this second biggest city in Indonesia. Rawon is a food that contain a cup of rice, cuts of beef, sometimes it was mixing with vegetable, there is kale which is boiled with beef, and raw sprout
    from green beans. The uniquely of rawon is a flavoring included, kluwek (Pangium edule). Kluwek make rawon wafted unique, and make the flavor different, the liquid of thi meal coloured black by kluwek. I have not found kluwek refined than rawon. It was very spesific taste than the other recipes, of course make it different and so locally.
