This iReport is part of an assignment:
    'The Hobbit' is here!

Ever since I was young the books and movies have been a huge part of my life. After TROK came out and the cast members got 'nine' tattooed on them, I was moved by their commitment to each other & their friendship, I also wanted to get it myself. Now being as I was extremely young at the time, I was smart enough not to act on impulse and get my first tattoo. 9 years passed and I still wanted that tattoo. Thinking and contemplating and countless times actually drawing it on my lower right hip (as Elijah has his) till I finally decided, 9 years, a tattoo devoted to a spectacular book and movie, I'm going to do it.
So other than having a matching tattoo with my favorite actor, I have also decided to recreate Frodo's outfit from the movies. I'm still tweaking some adjustments but it's coming along. I plan to aswell have the one ring on a chain, the pointy ears, and yes, even the hairy feet.
I purchased my midnight screening tickets as soon as I could, and I'm glad I did cause I got righteous seats :) I've tried to convince the theatre workers to let me take home the posters and the cutouts but thus far, I've had no luck. Mark my words, though, I will go dumpster diving if I have to!
I've reread the LOTR trilogy, as well as The Hobbit in preperation for the movie; and currently just started reading The Silmarillion.
As excited as I am to add to my collection of rings, books, bookmarks, clothing, action figures, necklaces and posters I've compiled over the past 11 years, I don't think I'll be able to surpass the feeling I'm going to get as soon as the lights dim in the theatre and I hear the ever so nostalgic music of Howard Shore.
