    MN Officers Walk Together

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     KP2013 is a senior at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, the sister school of St. John's University, where the funeral and procession were held for Officer Tom Decker. Decker was fatally shot while responding to a call in Cold Spring, Minnesota last week. The iReporter covered the procession for her school newspaper. 'Thousands of officers from all over the state and surrounding areas were silent as they proceeded in unison to pay their respects. It was deeply moving,' she said. 'This is a great example of the community that police officers share, and that the central Minnesota community has as well.'

    Over 2,000 police and military officers proceeded toward the St. John's Abbey in Collegeville, MN on Wednesday morning. They were there to honor Officer Tom Decker of Cold Spring, who was shot and killed on duty Nov 29. The procession to the funeral was a moving excample of community among law enforcement officers.
