This iReport is part of an assignment:
What was your best moment of 2012?
Paris with My Mother
"I took the photo as it encapsulated a moment that I had been dreaming about for over a decade," she says.
"When I was 10, my mother and her mother went to Paris together on a mother-daughter trip. From that time, I had always dreamed about taking the same trip with my mother."
"Last Christmas, my family got together and created a magic-moment for my mother. We all wrote in a journal about how much she loves Paris, and why she deserves the trip. Then, we gave her the gift of a two week mother-daughter trip for she and I to take."
"I wanted to capture the moment that my Mother and I caught our first up close glimpse of Paris's most popular monument together. The picture captures the Eiffel Tower from her perspective through her camera."

When I was 10 years old, my Mother and Grandmother took a trip to Paris together. Since then, I new I wanted to repeat their trip and make it a Mother-Daughter Parisian Adventure a new tradition. In 2012 that dream because a reality. We spent two-weeks exploring the Parisian lifestyle. This picture was taken during the Nuit Blanche celebration in which everything in Paris is open and mostly free to the public all night long. We walked the streets late into night. When we saw the Eiffel Tower twinkling, we both teared up... I'll remember this night with her forever.
