It Can't Happen to Me, but it Just Did
Yesterday I was released from the ICU at Ochsner Baptist Hospital, where I received exceptional care. I’m doing really well, but my doctor tells me if I hadn’t come in at the moment I did, I might not be here sending this update. So I need to be on this team more than ever.
Having a heart attack at 38 is a wake up call, especially since they tell me my risk factors were low. My commitment to fitness and health is stronger than ever. I really hope to be a part of Fit Nation with you to make the most of this new lease on life, and to help educate all those people out there who think it could never happen to them.
