Thousands of Egyptians rallied outside the presidential palace in Cairo on Friday, December 7, against the attacks on peaceful opposition protesters, the draft constitution and the constituional declaration. This was one of many protests organized allover the country. At first, protesters were prevented from reaching the palace as the republican guard blocked the way with barbed wired. Hours later, the number of protesters increased and they broke through the barbed wires and reached the walls of the palace. The protest continued peacefully. There were tens of thusands chanting against the presiddent and the Muslim Brotherhood.
