    Santacon in Cincinnati

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     gregreesehd captured video of Santacon on the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 8. He says Santacon is an annual event that takes place in the city, and people come dressed up as Santa Clause and other holiday icons. He says people in costume usually walk around the city giving out candy and attending pub crawls. He says a highlight of Santacon is when participants sing holiday carols.

    Santacon hit the Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio area on Saturday December 8, 2012. Reports say that there were over 500 Santas that participated throughout the day.

     

    I was able to capture some of the Santacon activities, so please enjoy as you watch a sample of hundreds of Santas bringing holiday spirit and cheer!

    Cincinnati Santacon is essentially a gathering of like minded individuals who wish to both get into the Christmas spirit, as well as spread Christmas cheer to their fellow man.
