Black in America leaves us with more questions than answers

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     omekongo, a diversity consultant from Washington, DC, says he 'loved' the 'Who Is Black in America?' CNN documentary, but it left him with more questions than answers. 'This documentary should MAKE people want to ask questions about each other and learn more about history. Anyone who walked away from this and said, 'Oh, now I get it' and stop there missed the point entirely,' he said. Watch his original video about what it means to be black.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Soledad gave a wonderful view of the challenges Black people face in America. No one should have watched this expecting to have it all figured out after the fact. The issue of identity for us, like anyone, is complex. Soledad's work helped break it down to a personal level, which is extremely important to do.
