    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alfredvroy sent in these images of what turned out to be a far from conventional wedding day in the town of Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic.

    At a somewhat "crazy" bachelor party the night before the ceremony, he passed out and awoke to find himslef stricken with broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.

    Despite his injuries, the wedding still went ahead -- although five hours late and at the reception hall rather than the church.

    In the end though "it was truly magical," he says. And, after the wedding, "the party started again with belly dancers, DJ's and hand drums. Craziest night ever!"

    this year i got married on nov 10th 2012 in the dominican republic in the town of santiago de los caballeros after a crazy movie like bachelor party in which in the decorator even had an accident i didnt even make it to the church cuz i passed out broke my ribs dislocated my shoulder and also broke my clavicule. the church was suppose to be at 4....when i came through it was arround 9pm had to have the church wedding at the reception. after which party started again with belly dancers dj and hand drums craziest night ever.... pictures at: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151238672864659.480760.512069658&type=3
