    My snow-covered neighborhood in Kiev, Ukraine

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter AlexKiev woke up on Tuesday morning to a blanket of white snow covering his neighborhood in central Kiev, Ukraine. "The snowfall is dreadful here, traffic is bad and cars are at a standstill in the street," he said. "I don't know how I'll get to work, but I thought earlier 'well, if I don't make it, I'll at least send in some pictures to iReport'." The Ukraine is known for its harsh winters, and our iReporter says this will not be the last of the snow this year.

    Although our local meteorologists promised no snow until the New Year's, it is already knee-deep in some places. After a week of endless snowfalls, last night's rain transformed into yet another snowstorm by morning. How will I ever get to work?
