Army’s 13 RR organized day long employment fair in Bandipora
Bandipora,Dec 11: In order to provide Kashmiri unemployed Youths best employment opportunities Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 3 Sector RR organized a day long employment fair at Aragram Bandipora in which a number of youth from nearby villages participated.
Job fair was conducted by Youth Guidance Node of 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) at Aragam wherein 102 local boys aged between 17 to 24 were exposed to various job opportunities in valley and outside valley. The Job Fair witnessed a huge participation by job seekers from all over the area of Bandipora which included villages of Aragam, Ajas and Nadihal. “The Army assistance was pivotal in my selection” said Sadique Lone and added, “Army has been with us from the beginning that is physical training, pre medical examination by their own doctors which was free of cost and helping us for written examination”.
Representatives of INDIACAN under Project HIMAYAT also delivered a lecture and screened youths for suitable employment options across North India. In this opportune moment 6 local boys who had been trained by 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) and selected in Army Recruitment Rally were felicitated by the Officiating Commanding Officer 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) and the Principal of Govt Higher Secondary School, Aragam.
Second in Command of 14 Rashtriya Rifles (GARH), SHO of Aragam Police Station Mr Shabir Noor including other important personalities of the area were present in the ocasion. The principal of the Higher Secondary School Aragam, Md. Ali Parray hailed the efforts of Army and said that these kinds of activities will go a long way in strengthening the bond between security forces and the locals. The aim of this Job Fair was to motivate the youth to join Army and nobody else but their own brethren who have been selected were the best persons to inspire and encourage them that was fully achieved during the event.
