    Obama and his Lobbyists

Watching the TV these days one is barraged by a slew of negative campaign ads geared to get our votes, but what is the truth in these ads? I was surprised this week when an Obama ad came on TV claiming that McCain does not know how to use a computer because I thought that Obama could do better than that. In this ad Obama claims McCain does not know how to use a computer and the ad flashes a picture of John McCain using a computer. Doesn't this contradict the ads claim that McCain does not know how to use a computer (Obama should take better care in choosing the content he places in his ads, and with such important issues at stake shouldn't Obama be focusing on the facts rather than petty lies? Being fair I have to say I was not anymore impressed with McCain's Ads that came out along with Obama's as they seemed just as vague and untruthful. Both campaigns need to do better on their attack ads because neither was believable and the American people deserve better than that after the last 8 years. It seems to me that everything Obama tries to get over on McCain/Palin, Obama/Biden are guilty of themselves. They want to point out about this trooper probe even though CNN already said the guy in question stated that Palin never asked him to fire anyone, so where is the case here? Then Obama and his supporters want to point out earmarks, well, let's talk about earmarks, particularly Biden's. Then Obama and his supporters try to use McCain's age against him, well, how about Biden, he is just as old and more of the same in Washington and at least McCain does not think Clinton would have been better than him for the job like Biden does. Obama supporters also like to point out McCain's skin cancer, I say let's talk about black lungs, Obama's smoking habbit, and how lung cancer is more fatal than skin cancer. My dad had skin cancer when I was a kid and he is still around and fine today. I thought it was really funny when Obama and his supporters wanted to focus on Palin's church because at least Palin did not attend a segregated racist church for 20 years, segregation contradicts the message of UNITY that Obama wants to portray and it is what people like Martin Luther King worked to stop because of the racial divide it creates. Even Oprah left this church in the early 90's because it did not take her long to realize the content Rev. Wright preached and she did not agree with his views. Oprah left this church after a couple years because it could damage her, but Obama never left, her stayed 20 years and only left when he was running for president and the views of racial segregation that he had gone as far as instilling into his children damaged his chances. Until them he even had Rev. Wright on his campaign! I think it is really sexist how Obama and his supporters question if Palin can run office and be a mom. Can Obama run office and be a dad? We always assume the first lady will take care of this but the minute the role shifts we cannot assume the same of the dad? This is just wrong, there are single dads out there with special needs children that will tell you that a Dad can raise a special needs child just fine. Now Obama wants to brag about lobbyists? His new ads points out McCain's lobbyist ties but fails to inform you that Obama is perfectly fine with accepting money from state lobbyists. This is from the Huffington Post: Obama is careful to claim in the ad that he does not take money from "Washington" lobbyists. That's because he does take money from state-based lobbyists. Long ago the media watchdogs, such as Politifact.com, determined that at best it is only half true for Obama to claim that he takes no money from federal lobbyists. He takes plenty of money and advice from those who work for lobbyists, such as former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle. More on Craig Crawford's Trail Mix. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/craig-crawford/obamas-lobbyist-fib_b_95399.html This new ad is just more Obama lies and hypocrisy! Obama has flip-flopped on just about every key issue, supported Bush policy like wire tapping, and he has no military or executive experience. Just about every ad I have seen him run recently consists of easily proven lies and I think maybe this is to distract from the issue that he is not experienced enough for the job. Here we have a man who is new to the Senate, has never drafted a law, knows nothing about the economy, and as just as guilty as the rest of Dems and Republicans in our do nothing congress for our economy issues and Wal-Street. This man has never fought in a war, has done nothing with his national guard, and has no record of political reform. His VP pick (Biden) is such a weak choice that he even doubts Obama picking him over Hillary, and Biden would be President now if he did not lack good judgment and attentiveness to the campaign funds his voters had trusted him with in 2004 when he wanted to run against Bush. Over the span of a year and a half every cent his voters trusted him with was stolen and Biden was so inattentive to his own campaign that it took him a year and a half to realize it was all gone? I bet you it would not have taken Obama over a year to realize he had used poor judgment in trusting someone to run his campaign and it was all gone, no, because Obama pays attention to his campaign funds like most attentive politicians do, that is why we do not see this happen like this very often at all. It is usually a case of someone stealing the money suddenly in one lump some, not slowly over time and nobody notices. Someone who cannot be trusted with his voter's money does not need to be the VP of the United States. This ex Clinton supporter is going to go with the McCain/Palin ticket still. Obama has done nothing to win my vote and the only thing I have seen from him recently is lies and flip-flops. It is funny how everything Obama points out about McCain or Palin he himself is guilty of.
