Germany Bans Rock Star Levina Lye's Controversial YouTube Video
21 year old female rock star Levina Lye recorded a cover of The Weeknd’s single “Wicked Games” and shot a music video that has caused an uproar.
Is the video sexy? Yes. Is it provocative? Yes. Should it be banned from viewing in an entire country?
Apparently the censors in Germany think so. The newly released video that features her intimate scenes with Playboy Live’s Honey Lynn has been officially banned from viewing on YouTube in that country. We reached out to the emerging recording artist to get her thoughts on the international controversy.
“I think it’s cool that my video had that much reach and potential that a whole country saw it as a threat. I have mass appeal and I’m not even signed yet.”
