Birthday Cake for Jesus A Family Tradition

We started the tradition of making a birthday cake for Jesus at our house over 38 years ago.Our first two children were babies. The cake was nothing fancy, just plain and simple. We would read the Nativity story to them on Christmas Eve and then would sing Happy Birthday to Jesus . Three more children and six grandchildren later we still make the birthday cake. One of my young grandson's just asked his Mom if "Mamaw" was going to make the cake for Jesus this year.
These photos are from Christmas 2011.
