Well, I woke up to find the city of Cincinnati is talking about selling the parking meters and lots to close the city budget deficit. Now, I enjoy going downtown after 6 pm during the week and all day Sunday for the free parking at the meters. I frequent some of the restaurants and shops during those times because parking is free. The news is saying the free times will probably go away with the company taking over the meters. I think the city will die because many of us in the suburbs will not pay to park downtown when we can eat and shop locally for free parking. I wonder who thinks up these ideas?
