    Overcoming a fear of heights

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Swimming coach Cassie Peterson‘s fear of heights was the start of a journey which culminated in this photo opportunity.

After Cassie’s friend Kate mentioned a desire to go skydiving on Twitter, the two agreed to do it together.

She says: “I have always been incredibly scared of heights and it's something I've always wanted to get rid of, so what better way than to jump out of a plane. It was the most exhilarating, exciting and freeing thing I've ever done.
    - mjponsford, CNN iReport producer

What better way to overcome a fear of heights, than jumping from a plane at 14,000 ft in the air? Starting off as a joke on Twitter, 3 months later we were jumping. Once on the ground, our first thought "Can't wait to do it again!"
