This iReport is part of an assignment:
What was your best moment of 2012?
Graduating From The ROV School In Windermere made my 2012 worthwhile.
I'd always wanted to be an ROV Pilot, Knowing that is the future of the subsea industry, i saved repeatedly and always ended up using the cash for some other pressing purpose, yet the cost was increasing as the years went by, i'd waited over 6 years for this, even though i'd started working as an ROV pilot, through -on the job learning and private studies, i still didn't feel fulfilled as a professional/certified Pilot, but eventually this year in May, i flew to Manchester from Port Harcourt, took the almost 2hrs train journey from Manchester to Windermere, in Cumbria, it wasn't my first time in the Uk though, but i found it strange in an almost all white area, i only managed to meet one black lady and that was it.
Finally, after some rigorous weeks, i graduated as a pilot, IMCA certified Pilot.
The memories will go to the grave with me.
Happy 2013 in advance, hoping the world doesn't end on the 21/12/12.
