Actors always seem to be the complete opposite of what they play in films

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     montebubbles was invited by a friend to attend Sunday's fundraising gala for CNN Top Ten Hero Susan Burton's A New Way of Life Reentry Project, hosted by actor Jason Isaacs. The organization provides housing and other programs to formerly incarcerated women in South Central Los Angeles. In the video, Isaacs is seen doing magic tricks and having a playful moment with Parris, a 4-year-old boy who with his mother and sister were former residents in the program. Isaacs' wife has produced a documentary on the organization founder, and the actor had met the boy when Parris was a resident.

We attended the charity event, "Beauty through Adversity," hosted by Jason Isaacs and got an education of just how this is so true. You see a man that has killed Heath Ledger in The Patriot, played the mean Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films show the true signs of a loving father and human being that is so different form all the mean and evil characters he has played in his career.

Jason Isaacs was touched by a young man named Parris, who is a young man and not a child except when he was playing with Jason Isaacs who was on his knees entertaining Parris with magic tricks.

Besides hosting the event, Jason Isaacs wrote the script for the evening. He comes by his feelings about helping people from lessons that he learned from his mother in England and through marriage to his wife who produced a documentary on the founder of the charity, CNN Hero Susan Burton.
