    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     FromJoanne has planned her trip to the island of Giglio long before the Costa Concordia tragically sank on January 13, 2012.

    "I was stunned to see how close the ship is to the shore, you felt you could almost jump off the ship and onto the rocks, it's that close," said Joanne.

    "To finally be on that gorgeous peaceful Island Giglio with its crystal clear waters, enjoying a delicious lunch, with the person I love, topped off by an extremely unusual view of a sunken ocean cruise liner, made it the most memorable moment of 2012."
