Yingluck Working For Peace in Pattani
Pattani has seen troubled times where civilians, teachers and government representatives are killed and injured by loosely-formed militants. Violence was almost at the height during the government of Abhisit Vejjajiva.
Yingluck believes in the empowerment of women in participation, especially in the strengthening of communities and individuals made vulnerable due to violence. With her national commitment and campaigns in eradicating violence against women and children, the Prime Minister is planning for more initiatives to meet women in order to find mutual causes, and build peace and prosperity for the Thai people.
