    Fire Island Celebrating Life pre Hurricane Sandy

    New Yorkers live for the beach in the summer, my friends and I have spent many a day and night under the East Coast sun. The most memorable of these summers being 2012 in Fire Island, NY.   Fortunately for us, we all live and work in Manhattan and every Friday evening would hop on the LIE for a weekend of relaxation, sun and memories. We were able to live in this dream for 15 weeks this summer. Oct 29th 2012, Hurricane Sandy demolished our dream on Fire Island. We all hear about The Rockaways, Staten Island, but Fire Island is a forgotten community. New Yorkers stand strong, and WE WILL REBUILD!
