Freedom Calling
Singer songwriter Ayo-Dele was asked to write a song for a new company called Polished Pearl. They work mainly in India rehabilitating victims of human trafficking. As a woman, daughter, mother and a sister it was really disturbing to hear these stories and read acounts of what some of these, sometimes very young girls have had to go through. The disturbing fact that it isn't just an Indian issue but a global one.
Polished Pearl is a luxury handbag and accessory label that trains and employs victimized women and whose profits provide care for vulnerable children. Music is a powerful tool, as an artist I want to raise awareness, encourage and inspire hope.
