    We Need to Protect our Children

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DaElmersBack told me, ' As much as I wanted to go get [my kids] out of school today, I know I shouldn't. I am going to try keeping this from them because I love them. I am going to hug them hard when I see them today and they will know Dad loves them too.'

    After learning about this deadly shooting, all I can think about is my own children. I can never imagine what these parents are going through, nor do I ever want to find out. My thoughts on this now is that we need to protect our children more than we are right now.

     

    Metal Detectors need to be installed in every school in America, we need armed people to protect our children too I believe. This violence must end, it is up to US..
