    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ronboy1965 says he was shocked and sadden to hear the news about the Newton school shooting. He says he worries over the safety of children in schools. 'I was thinking, "What do I do for my son?"' he asked. 'He is in the fifth grade. Do I put him in a bullet proof vest?' He says increasing more safety at schools, like implementing security guards, is a possible way to curb violence. As a father, he says his heart goes out to those parents who lost their children. ‘I know how much it affected me and I am a hundred miles away, and I would want to go there and give every one of them a hug and let them know I am praying for them,' he said.

    As I watched the coverage of the EVIL actions today, it caputered my attention more and more as I saw the magnitude of the shooting.
    I live in a very small town in northern WI. I watched all of the the programs on CNN late tonight. All I could think of was the sadness and shock of everyone in Newtown. I wish I was finacially able to travel the hundreds of miles to grieve with them and hug them. I will pray for them daily, and NEVER forget. This is as tragic as 9-11, were talking YOUNG children here!!!
    SAD, is my feeling. Im not a man who crys, but as I write this I have tears swelling in my eyes. I pray for the families of the dead, and those whos children witnessed it. I am sad for the adults killed, and consider them heros.

    WHY does this seem to happen all the time??? We all have our answers, but it doesnt change the fact it does!!
    My heart & soul are at half mass, as well as the the flag...
    May God bless you and comfort all of you.....
