This iReport is part of an assignment:
Newtown school shooting: Thoughts and tributes |

A poem for the parents
Words we take for granted
We say them every day
Thinking that tomorrow
It will still be that way
For some it is a promise
For others just a wish
A chance to give a hug again
Or just to blow a kiss
Tomorrow will be different
The words I long to say
Fading into memory
Of what was yesterday
Home is where the heart is
So I guess that’s where I’ll go
I’ll be at home in Heaven
I just thought you should know
