    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     shockey60 says the day of the Newtown school shooting, rivaling basketball teams at a local Montana school, came together for a moment of silence for the shooting victims at the center of the basketball court. 'I thought it was awesome how two teams came together as one to show support towards the families in Connecticut. The crowd was also very supportive,' she said.

    Today we suffered a great loss. Before starting tonight's games, the North Toole County Refiners and the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks met at center circle. As one, the fans of NTC and CJI stood in a few moments of silence, praying for those family's who must spend this holiday season grieving for the children and administrators whose lives were so cruelly taken. After a few moments, the two teams gathered in the middle, joining hands in the center and said "family." Tonight, we remember. Tonight, we do not forget.
