From your neighbors in Southbury. HOPE

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ted Ruddock photographed a tribute to the Newtown school shooting victims that was made out of Christmas lights, spelling out the word "hope." He says he was passing by a church, which had created the tribute and he wanted to share it with others. As a former resident of Newtown, he says the news of the shooting was shocking and unbelievable. 'It is a nightmare, and you think you are going to wake up and it isn't going to be there, but that is not the case,' he said. He describes Newtown as a quintessential New England town. 'Everybody knows everybody,' he said. 'The elementary school there is a locus to the neighborhood. It's like a member of your family has been killed,' he said.
