It's  bad enough that the Phelps family calls itself a church which is a  mockery and a blight on all those who hold true religious beliefs.This  abomination to all believers of any religion continue to show how  deranged and how evil they truly are.

The  Westboro Baptist Church has announced that it will journey to Newtown,  Connecticut to protest the prayer vigil this evening for the victims and  their families of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre. The Phelps and  followers have shown their delusion over and over in protests at the  funerals of our military members who have fallen defending their right  to free speech.

This  group of fanatics on steroids attempted to disrupt the vigil following  the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting earlier this year. People locked  arms and prevented the so-called church from getting close to that  vigil.

According  to published reports, on Twitter members of Phelps' cult announced they  were going to Newtown "to sing praise to God for the glory of His work  in executing His judgment."

What a travesty!

Yes,  there is freedom of speech in this country, but there are times to  speak and times not to speak. These misguided souls have no  understanding, no compassion and no comprehension of God or religion.

From  the Cornfield, one day, hopefully sooner than later, Phelps and his  followers will stand in judgment before God to answer for their sins  against humanity and their taking of the Lord's name in vain.
