Donald Trump is a Colonel After Nomination by Earl Reginald Stevenson
Kentucky Colonel is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Commissions for Kentucky colonels are given by the Governor and the Secretary of State to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to a community, state or the nation. The sitting governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky bestows the honor of a colonel's Commission, by issuance of letters patent.
A list of Kentucky Colonels is a Who's Who of outstanding men and women around the world. The certificate, signed by the Governor and the Secretary of State and bearing the Great Seal of Kentucky, has hung on the walls of such distinguished leaders as Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Ronald Reagan, and English Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Certificates are also proudly displayed by great second grade teachers and brave volunteer firemen who have performed in an extraordinary manner.
Trump was nominated for the commission by Earl Reginald Stevenson. Stevenson nominated Trump after a discussion with Sean Yazbeck, winner of "The Apprentice". Stevenson is a former U.S. Marine, a commissioned Colonel, and life member of Mensa. Stevenson is also a close friend of actor, Johnny Depp and is a direct descendant of John Stevenson, one of the first settlers at Jamestown, Virginia.
