    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Artist and mother of two Megan Clark says the news of the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut "tore her heart to pieces". "I couldn't simply sit this one out -- I didn't know what to do, but I knew this I could create," she said. "I wanted to create something... without dates, without explanation. I wanted it to be filled with emotion, peace, hope and love." She says she plans to send the artwork to Sandy Hook Elementary School.

    I created this piece in honor of the lives lost at Sandy Hook, in hopes that it would help heal those suffering the losses of their loved ones. It will be signed, matted & mailed to Sandy Hook.
