    Mourning

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Italy-based iReporter MartiLuna may be thousands of miles away from Newtown, Connecticut, but the tragedy left her no less shocked. "I've been thinking about the poor kids and teachers in Newtown for a while and I felt an intense grief," she said. "The words came to me, they were inside of me." She says she has learned to use a gun herself, but feels there is a big difference between Italy and the U.S. when it comes to their sale and accessibility, with Italy much stricter on both counts. She says that while gun control laws work, it's education that will prevent such tragedies in the future. "I think the U.S. should introduce, apart from stricter rules and laws, an educational plan that provides the kids in school - and therefore future adults - a fairer idea of what life is and of the right of every single human being to live and to grow up," she said.

    No breath

    No heart beating

    No voice

    No laugh

    No nothing

Just a shot in the air

Killing too many of your souls

    Slaughtering your young dreams

    No nothing

    No more

    I'm with you

    Mourning silently each of you

    Miles and miles away..

    But so close to you

    So close it hurts
