Boy Places Dandelion at Memorial of His Soldier Father

The family and widow of SGT Timothy Conrad look on as his son puts a dandelion on his dad's memorial at the Ft. Stewart Warriors Walk. The boy was just a baby when his dad was killed in Afghanistan in Feb 2012.

15 DEC 2012 marked the 6th annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony commemorating the fallen from 3rd INF DIV during the Christmas holiday season.

The Warriors Walk, located on Ft. Stewart, GA, memorializes each of 3rd INF DIVs fallen soldiers in the War on Terror with a tree to signify the life and memory of the fallen solider. There are currently 443 trees planted with 4 pending following the deaths of 3rd INF DIV soldiers in Afghanistan in recent months. 3rd ID has the most war casualties of any unit in the United States military.
